A challenge to the West Milton Baptist Church, and for all the Lord's Churches also. Our country is dead and under the judgment of God, as HE actively works against it. The question for us, is, are we going to go down with her. Our future is not tied to this country, we needs not perish with her. We need to stand up and be counted for the Lord and rally in this day we are called to serve the Lord in.

We face certain enemies in the fight for truth and against he tyranny of the times. These enemies will give it their best to keep us from being successful in that fight!

Seeking for Jesus is an admirable activity, one that we all must engage in. However, to be successful in this effort we need to know where to find Jesus today. They knew to look in Capernaum to find Christ, but where do we look? Christ should be found in our Churches, in our Homes, and in our Lives. People should be able to find Him in these places today! The question is can they?

As Christ delivers a Sermon about Himself being, "That Bread come down from heaven" those listening find it to be a hard saying. Doctrine is often like that and people murmur against it. After their murmuring they choose to abandon following Christ, for something else. Christ then asks His church "Will Ye also go Away?" We need to be answering this question today with the same fervor and zeal as Peter.

The disciples find themselves in the midst of another storm, such is the reality of life. This storm is different however, as all storms in life are. As they are separated from Christ, He still watches over them, and then in the darkest hour of the night, comes walking to them on the water, and there they see Him in the midst of the storm!

Hard hearts, doubts, fear, and disbelief sound like characteristics from lost men, but this describes the Apostles just hours after witness the feeding of the 5,000. They had not considered that miracle and it cost them.

Christ has performed many miracles during His earthly ministry, to include; turning water into wine, healing the crippled, even raising the dead, but the feeding of the 5,000 is perhaps the greatest of all. There is much to learn as Christ looks upon the multitude gathered and has compassion upon them.
