We are surrounded by the common perceptions of life, but the unseen reality is that things are not always, or ever, how they seem to be.  We are surrounded daily by the unseen reality of God and His greatness.

Six comforting, assuring, and encouraging truths that the servant learned when His eyes were opened to see that those that were with them, were greater than those that were against them.

It was only a stick cast upon the enormous surface of a great river, a seemingly small gesture, but the effect that it had was miraculous.  God summoned by His power the axe head and made it swim, there was a rising by His grace.  The same can be said for us by Faith. 

The Student of the lost axe head was horrified and powerless because he had lost the borrowed axe head.  We know that it was recovered, but it brings to mind some things in our lives that are also borrowed.
